Runners in the HDR, P and T classes start at any time between the first and last competitor on the start list, others according to the start list published on the race webpage

Event centre:

Nová Skalka (Česká Lípa district) – (50.5687369N, 14.6004725E), club tents are recommended

Registration:

Friday 10th April 9:30 - 11:30 in the event centre, entries to the HDR, P and T classes and changes throughout the event

Terrain:

Rugged terrain, rocky ridges and valleys (sandstone), multilevel rock formations, mostly well runnable forest, not too many tracks/paths. Altitude 300 – 480 m.n.m.

women: D10, D12, D14, D16, D18, D20, D21EAB, D35AB, D40AB, D45AB, D50, D55, D60, D65, D70, D75

men: H10, H12, H14, H16, H18, H20, H21EAB, H35AB, H40AB, H45AB, H50AB, H55AB, H60, H65, H70, H75, H80, H85

D10F marked with streamers, girls up to age 10

HDR marked with streamers, for children accompanied by adults

B3, B5 beginners‘ courses for older (age 11-100) runners, about 3 or 5 km

T3, T4, T6 training course (difficult, approx 3/4/6 km)

The number of runners entered in the subclasses is unlimited, in case of low entries, the organising club reserves the right to combine E, A and B subclasses.

Course length: Expected H21E winning times 45 minutes on Day 2 and 80 minutes on Days 1 and 3, other course length adjusted relative to H21E. For detailed information see here.

Day 1, 2, 3 event centre: Nová Skalka (signposted)

From route 38 Mladá Boleslav – Jestřebí turn left in Doksy to route number 270 in the direction Dubá. Then, after 200 m, turn right towards Skalka (2.3 km). In Skalka village, turn right towards Nová Skalka (1.5 km) where parking meadow is located, 50.5687369N, 14.6004725E Event centre

event centre – Day 1 start, there will be two starts S1 900 m, S2 700 m

Entries:

Using the entry system – ORIS. Foreigners also enter using the ORIS system, entry by e-mail only in exceptional cases to: Turn on JavaScript!. E-mail entries are only confirmed once you receive a reply.

Requests for specific start times will only be accommodated in cases where reasons are given (eg. very small children, etc.). Such requests must be entered in the “Comment” (Poznámka) field when creating your ORIS entry.

From March 23rd, entries by e-mail only, to Turn on JavaScript!, entry will be subject to map and start time availability. An e-mail entry is only valid after receipt of a reply.

Cancellations:

  • Until March 22nd 2020: 100 % of the entry fees will be returned (minus bank fees)
  • From March 23rd till March 31st 2020: 50 % of the entry fees will be returned (minus bank fees)
  • Later: entry fees will not be returned

Charges for changes:

  • change of name or other details within the class is free
  • change of class – free until March 22nd 2020, later for 50 CZK per day, subject to availability of start times

Payment:

On-line by card:

If you want to pay by bank card, you have to inform us by email to Turn on JavaScript!. You will get an invoice by email, which you can pay by (credit or debit) card on-line. 4% + 10 CZK transaction fees for card payment will be invoiced. Payment is done through the PayPal secure payment portal (you do not need to have a Paypal account). As the bank transfers in EUR are now without bank fees or with small bank fees only, we recommend you to use preferabely bank transfers for payments from EUR accounts.

Always write the name of your club and your name in the “Reason for payment” section. You have to pay an amount, such that the correct amount of CZK arrives in our account. You can look up exchange rates on the web page of our bank. Calculate the correct amount in your currency by dividing the amount in CZK by the exchange rate in column "We buy". If you pay in EUR, our bank does not take any fee. If you pay in any other currency add 100 CZK (4 EUR) for bank fee of our bank.

By national bank transfer:

If you have the option, you can also pay through a Czech bank. In this case you have to send us the exact sum in CZK, we do not pay any fees for national transfers. To use this option, contact the organiser to get exact instructions.

Punching system:

SportIdent (all types up to SI11, including SIAC). The electronic SportIdent units will be set to the contactless BEACON mode (allowing punching within a distance of 0.5 m), except for the finish control on Day 3, which must be punched in contact fashion. The organiser does not rent out SIAC cards. SI cards (not SIAC) can be hired from the organiser for 40 CZK/day (a deposit may be required). Lost SI cards are will be charged at 700 CZK.

Training:

Map Babylon near the village of Kozly (parking for cars at 50.6459103N, 14.4562611E).

Type of training: free order of controls, small cloth flags will be in the forest from Thursday 14:00 until Sunday morning

Maps can be ordered on ORIS as an extra, 50 CZK per map

Issue of preordered maps: Thursday 9th April 13:00 – 14:00 sports hall opposite the school in Jestřebí village, 50°36'31.220"N, 14°35'5.318"E

Accommodation:

Floorspace accommodation from Friday to Sunday (schools with showers) near the event centre (in Česká Lípa), available at 90 CZK/night. Please request such accommodation when entering through ORIS. Contact details for other accommodation option will be published on the race webpage.

Transport:

Not arranged by the organiser.

Prizes:

Prizegiving will take place after Day 3 for the combined results of all three Days.

Prizes will be given to all runners in classes HDR, DH10L, DH10, the first six in classes DH21E, the first three in the other classes, as well as the winner of the B subclass. Classes P, T3, T4 and T6 will not be announced.

Sale of merchandise:

Possible in the event centre after arranging this with the race director (Turn on JavaScript!, +420 776 781 923).

Data protection (GDPR):

By entering the event, each competitor agrees to have their personal data published in the valid ČSOS format in the form of the entry list, the start list and the results on the web pages of the event and in the ORIS system.

Photography:

During the event, photographs will be taken to inform the public about the race. Also photographs can be taken for personal needs of competitors (such as race mementos, promotion of orienteering clubs), in particular during the prize giving ceremony and on the run-in to the finish. If you do not agree to be photographed, please let the photographer know explicitly.
